Lera Bauer, was born in 1991 in a city called Novosibirsk, which is one of the biggest cities in Russia. At the age of 7 she started attenting the music school and took cello lessons. Having played for many years in the orchestra, she decided to set her heart on electronic music. A few months after that she came across Ableton Live and instantly gave it a try, which had resulted in an electronica project named 'Miyuki'. .
